The site of the Monmouth County Fire Academy was redeveloped to upgrade the existing facilities to meet today’s fire training standards. The first phase of this project included a 4-story addition and renovation to the existing burn building. This structure provides firefighters the opportunity for hands-on training in various situations encountered during firefighting. The second phase includes the addition and renovations to the existing classroom and administration facility so as to provide a state of the art complex, meeting the current and future demands of the fire service.
